What people come in for
The reasons people call us
This is what people tell the front desk. It is not a list of what we treat, and your acupuncturist asks about your own situation.
Low back pain
Aching, stiff or catching.
After long days sitting or standing
That comes and goes for months
Neck and shoulder pain
Tight and hard to turn.
After a crash or a bad night's sleep
From a desk or a steering wheel
After a car crash
Strain in the weeks after a collision.
Neck, back and shoulders
Seen by a doctor first
Hurt at work
Strains from lifting and repeating a motion.

Call first about workers' compensation
Hip and leg pain
Running from the low back through the hip.
Worse after sitting
Worse on stairs
Headaches with a tense neck
Starting at the base of the skull.
With a stiff day
Often with long hours at a screen
What acupuncture does not do
Acupuncture does not work for everyone, and results vary. It does not replace your doctor's care, a scan or surgery when you need them.
Acupuncture does not replace emergency care, imaging, surgery or your doctor's care, and it does not work for everyone. See a doctor first, or call 911, for sudden severe pain, new weakness or numbness, numbness in the groin or between the legs, new trouble controlling your bladder or bowels, chest pain, or back pain with a fever.
Your acupuncturist tells you when a visit is not the right next step and who to see instead.
Not sure it fits?
Call and tell the front desk what is getting in your way.
